Art and culture matter. At a moment of upheaval and rupture, when the very foundations of our governmental institutions are in question, creativity can help illuminate a path forward. Initially provoked by the sudden disregard for due process, these collage works reflect an attempt to record, explore, and make visible my concerns about this moment in time. The work of doing and processing in the studio has become an act of hope, resolve, and quiet resistance.
