Ruby Moon Seedlings

I wrote about my seed-starting project a while back. The seeds were harvested from last year's Ruby Moon Hyacinth Bean plant. They have taken over one end of my desk and now stand 9-10 inches tall. Hopefully I can plant them outside soon. These are a vine-like plant, with purplish stems and veins and bright green leaves. Late in the summer they have amazing fuschia to purple-colored pea-like pods. I plan to do some studies of them in my Green sketchbook.

Purge

My studio has gotten out of control lately so I am having to purge, shuffle, and rework the space. Nobody is around but me this weekend so the organizational process is flowing out into the hallway! I do have a plan of attack though, a map of sorts. Hopefully I will surface again soon...

Road Trip

I've been up in the mountains, art directing a photo shoot for the past couple of days. The 3-hour drive was inspiring... great colors, beautiful weather, crazy geologic formations to admire. (I need to get out more!)

Impressions

Finally got my collage mounted and off to the National Collage Society Small Works Show. I've titled this one "Impressions." It's just 4 x 6 inches. I did several but could only send one... I've enjoyed working on them.
