Above are the final two in a series of six pet images, each 12 x 12 x 1" collages for recent commission.I've completed the wall figures now and am in the finishing stages of cutting them out, painting edges, varnishing, attaching hangers, etc. in preparation for delivery next week. Below is a photo of one of my favorites, still on the larger board and with some test papers affixed to the margins. When cut out, these images will have a black border and be even more cartoonlike. I have a whole menagerie in my studio these days!
This heart collage, composed of recycled imagery, has not yet found its perfect place within a larger piece... so thought you might enjoy seeing it and perhaps using it as a Valentine's Day image.
Feel free to download, print out, and add your own creativie additions/alterations. I've left white space for text. Spread the love. Download JMcDonald.valentineprint, pdf file, 5 x 7", print quality (475kb)
Remember... like all Valentines, it's all in the eye/heart of the beholder!
